Ed Zabala
Founder & Principal
Hello! I'm Ed - a professional engineer engaged in both structural & civil engineering. These days, it's mostly structural engineering. I've been doing both since graduating from Cal Poly Pomona in 1997. I've been involved in most facets of the engineering business - draftsman, assistant engineer, staff engineer, project manager, and firm owner a couple of times. At the core, I'm a design engineer.​
In structural engineering, I like to do non-building type structures. Most of my long-time clients are manufacturing companies that fabricate steel structures like access platform systems, fall-protection apparatus, liquid storage tanks, silos, and other miscellaneous steel structures. Occasionally I'll get a wood, concrete, or masonry building. Those are fun and I enjoy them when they land on my desk. I also do shallow and deep foundation design. ​
While there are many frustrations with this profession, I love what I do and hope to do this until I can't anymore. I also enjoy helping others who are engaged in this profession. So, if you are humble and I like you, I'll share with you what I have.
Josh Habeger
Project Engineer
Hey, I'm Josh, a Project Engineer currently living in in North Carolina. I have over 4 years of experience in engineering. I'm great at creating innovative, reliable solutions for buildings and infrastructure. I regularly work with RISA and Revit (engineering software).
I enjoy working on a variety project types. I’m known for my attention to detail and practical, tech-savvy approach. At EZE Group, I meticulously calculate and review, making sure we deliver top-quality results. I enjoy collaborating with clients and colleagues to bring our best ideas to life.​ Outside of engineering, I really enjoy watching Formula 1 Racing.

Hi, I'm Amber, the Office/Project Manager at EZE Group, currently based in New York. In order for everything to run smoothly and efficiently, I'm able to put my 15+ years of management experience to use.
I have a knack for organization and a passion for creating a positive work environment. From managing schedules and coordinating events to overseeing office operations, I handle it all with a smile.
